About Department

Education plays a vital role in the Holistic development of every student. So, it is only fair that every Student deserves the right Education in the best possible manner.

Ministry of HRD, Government of India had issued an executive order in September 2011 for National Vocational Education qualification framework (NVEQF). The University Grant Commission (UGC) has launched scheme on skill development based higher education as part of college/university education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc)

With this as objective, “The Deen Dayal Upadhyay KAUSHAL Kendra (DDUKK)” project was founded by the UGC in 2014 as part of its own effort to meet the increasing Demand for skilled youth. C P Patel and F H shah commerce college, Anand is one Among the few institutions in the country to be awarded the DDU KAUSHAL Kendra project to give Need based quality education to students and mould them into a qualified and skilled workforce.

Department of Vocational studies a leading institute of national importance serves in the favour of society. Department prepares students for tomorrow. There is an urgent need for taking integrated initiatives towards knowledge acquisition and up gradation of skilled human competences in today’s scenario. Department provides purely skill based practical aspect learning for students that will enhance their aptitude skills. We are highly engaged in market skill impartment and working side by side with current market conditions. with multiple exits such as Certificate / Diploma / Advanced Diploma and Degree the B.Voc Programme is focused on preparing graduates / Diploma-holders acquire necessary job market skills enabling them to gain appropriate employment or become entrepreneurs. In addition to the Degree from the University, the respective Sector Skill Councils give a certification with the NSQF levels 5, 6 and 7 respectively for the B.Voc Students.

The certification levels lead to diploma/adv. Diploma/B.voc degree in one or more vocational areas and will be offered under the aegis of the university.

Community colleges:
“The prime objectives of community colleges include making higher education relevant to the learner and the community, and to integrate relevant skills into higher education system. Such colleges also aim to provide skill based education system to students who although currently perusing higher education, wish to enter in the workforce earliest. Community College aims to provide employable and certifiable skills with necessary general education to senior secondary school pass outs, and to provide opportunities for community based life-long learning.
